AltraLaw is the UK’s first Not-For-Profit Law Firm. We use our profits for good by donating them to causes chosen by our clients and referrers. We call this the AltraWay.
By doing this we are giving back, leading by example, and using legal services as a force for good.
We do not have equity partners or shareholders. This means we can donate all of our profits to those most in need in society, chosen by our clients and referrers. We hope to inspire others to follow suit and join the ethical revolution.
We only employ altruistic lawyers and ensure our people are not only experts in their field but also in their approach to clients.
All of our specialist solicitors work collaboratively as a team to provide outstanding legal services to our clients whilst supporting each other and the wider legal community.
Working Together: Help us, help clients, help our communities
We would love you to work with us and you will, in turn, be raising funds for your chosen charity and helping us do good in the world.
We pride ourselves on having excellent, collaborative and positive relationships with other law firms, to help you and help your clients.
We currently work with five of the top law firms in Wales and want to expand our network to help even more people and enable more money to be donated to charity.
We specialise in supporting individuals, third sector organisations and charities in providing top-tier employment law advice.
We only represent employees in employment disputes.
Our Head of Department, Nathan Vidini, is known as the go-to employment lawyer for senior executives in Wales and the West and has developed a team of lawyers sharing his passion and commitment to upholding the rights of individuals in the workplace.
We are interested in working with you where you have:
- Referrals for work that you are not able to manage or there is a conflict.
- Settlement agreement referrals (where you act for the employer).
- A white labelled HR and legal services provision for retainer clients on a fixed cost basis. We can save you the cost of supervising junior staff or using costly lawyers to do this work.
The Employment Team at AltraLaw has a wealth of diverse experience, led by three former partners of large firms in Cardiff. We advise on all aspects of employment law and have expertise across all industries and sectors throughout the UK and EU.
We are experienced in advising and assisting a range of workers: from traditional employees to self-employed Contractors or Consultants, Board Members to Blue-Collar workers, Partners, Directors, Teachers and Professionally Regulated individuals such as Solicitors, Doctors, Consultants and Financial Advisers.
We are becoming known as the ‘lawyers’ lawyers’ due to the number of recommendations we receive to assist lawyers who themselves need advice.
