The Welsh Government are keen to launch a conversation at a regional level focused on recommendations found in the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) report: The Future of Regional Development and Public investment in Wales, United Kingdom.
It would like to hear from you about your region’s strengths, the challenges you are facing and expect to face, and how recommendations in the OECD report can be of value.
The conversation, using an open-dialogue/question and answer format, will include the OECD, Welsh Government, the City and Growth Deals and Local Leaders to help us with taking forward the report recommendations, particularly those in Chapters 3 and 4.
To support this, the Welsh Government is holding four virtual engagement events across Wales and would be delighted if you could join us at one of these:

You are welcome to send questions in for speakers before the event and these can be in Welsh. Please could you send all questions in by Wednesday 23 September. A link will be given to you by the Welsh Government Regional Development Team upon booking.
