Family Lawyer – CJCH Solicitors

• Location: Based in Cardiff, Barry, Blackwood or Bridgend offices, with remote working (but will need to be able to work from any of the offices if required)
• Salary: from £37,000 per year, depending on experience

The opportunity

CJCH Solicitors is recruiting an experienced Family Lawyer (preferably PQE 1+, with a package open to negotiation based on experience) to join the award-winning, full-service law firm. The successful candidate will be joining the dynamic CJCH Solicitors Family Law team which operates across the firms’ network in Wales and South West England.

With offices in Cardiff, Barry, Blackwood and Bridgend, and with ongoing expansion, the position with CJCH Solicitors offers a fantastic opportunity for an experienced solicitor / CILEX lawyer to grow and develop their practice further with the support of a great team.

The role is a full-time role only (5 days a week).

Role requirements

• Preferably 1+ years PQE (The PQE is a guideline only and does not preclude applications from a candidate with more or less experience).
• Efficient communicator, able to engage at all levels.
• Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to provide a high standard of client care
• Able to demonstrate detailed knowledge and expertise in dealing with Family and Matrimonial matters.
• Proven experience in dealing with private & public children proceedings and knowledge of divorce and matrimonial finance proceedings.
• Experience in utilising case management systems to increase efficiency and time management.

Experience

• Qualified solicitor / CILEX Lawyer: minimum 1-year PQE
• Children law: 1 year (required)
