Finance Manager – Leading Law Firm

Salary: Up to £45,000 (DOE)

Role Overview
As a Finance Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Posting supplier invoices, reconciling statements, and arranging payments
- Handling fee invoices, credit notes, and disbursement write-offs
- Monitoring and authorising payments to clients and other parties
- Conducting various reconciliations and posting between bank accounts
- Managing credit control and pursuing unbilled disbursements
- Supervising the Finance Assistant and providing necessary training
- Assisting the Finance Director and handling special finance projects
- Generating performance reports and ensuring compliance with firm policies and SRA rules
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and possess a positive work ethic. Previous experience in a finance role, particularly within the legal profession, is highly desirable. Familiarity with SRA accounts rules is preferred but not essential.
