Legal Cashier

Location: Newport

Salary: Up to circa £28k (DOE)

The firm

TSR Legal are currently working with a well-established firm in Newport & Cardiff  who now have a new opportunity for a Legal Cashier to join their team. As a Legal Cashier you would be reporting to the Head of Finance working across all departments.

The role

As a Legal Cashier you will be responsible for supporting the accounts department providing efficient assistance in cashier and bookkeeping duties. In addition to this other responsibilities include supporting the operation of the firm’s client and office bank reconciliations as well as general administrative support to the wider team.

About you

The ideal candidate will need to work independently and be able to manage their own work allocation, productivity and quality of work with minimum supervision.

The successful candidate must have at least 2 years’ experience working as a legal cashier / legal accounts assistant as well as a full understanding of Solicitors Account Rules.
