Private Client Head of Department & Solicitor

Location: Cardiff

Salary: Up to circa £45k (DOE)

The role

Are you an experienced Private Client solicitor with drive and ambition to grow a team in a well-established, Lexcel accredited practice in Cardiff?

Our client is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to handle their own caseload and also someone who will become an integral part of the team and the firm, driving the department forward and growing the department to maximise the business opportunity in their area.

Previous Private Client experience is essential, preferably gained in either the South Wales market or locally with a reputable firm, ideally Legal 500.

About you

• Have a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
• Ideally have experience of managing a small team
• Have a thorough understanding of complex probate matters, including estate planning, the administration of trusts and power of attorney
• Are fully conversant in all compliance issues that may affect the private client department
