Sales Manager

Location: Cardiff / Hybrid working

Salary: Up to £60k pa

The role

A legal practice in Cardiff is seeking to hire a highly professional Sales Manager to join their boutique law firm. The Sales Manager will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for potential new clients (PNCs) interested in their firm’s legal services. The Sales Representative will also be responsible for serving as a brand ambassador and informing others about the law firm’s services.

You will be joining a firm where everyone’s ideas are heard. They are constantly looking to improve the way they operate and suggestions for innovations and improvements are always welcome.   • Prospecting: Work closely with partners and wider team to identify target clients, create an outreach strategy, and respond to leads
  • Pipeline Management: Develop a healthy sales pipeline and manage opportunities to achieve the firms strategic initiatives and revenue goals
  • Closing Deals: Pitch and close prospective clients, utilising your industry knowledge to help customers understand the value the firm can add to their business
  • Developing new clients for initial consultations, and working with partners of the firm to assess merits of potential new clients
  • Identifying and participating in networking opportunities on the firm’s behalf

About you

Candidates must be highly organized, diligent, and deadline oriented with the ability to organize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The Sales Manager must be confident, articulate and diplomatic. The Sales Manager must be able to bring new clients to the point of signing an engagement letter with the firm. You must be self-motivating and self-directed to achieve his/her professional goals and the firm’s goals.

The firm are seeking candidates who are the right fit for their office culture. Candidates must be passionate about collaborating with team members and building the law firm.

Candidate must possess a degree or the equivalent, as well as 4 plus years’ professional services sales experience. Candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills.

  • Previous experience in a legal / professional services firm.
  • Experience in developing and managing leading Sales
