The President of Cardiff and District Law Society is delighted to announce the return of our annual Managing Partners & Directors Lunch. This year’s lunch will be hosted in The Telegraph Room – a private dining room at The Parkgate Hotel, Cardiff on the 19th November 2025.
Cardiff & District Law Society (CDLS) launched the Managing Partners & Directors Lunch in 2014, attracting a managing partners and equity directors from across the breadth of legal services in the region to join the Society for a rare opportunity to catch up with peers at the highest level.
For those able to attend, CDLS also invites you to join its Annual General Meeting 2025 – the election of Council members and its next president – after the lunch. The AGM is free to attend and includes informal networking over drinks.
What to expect
A three-course lunch with a glass or two of wine and the perfect opportunity to catch up with peers in senior positions in the legal profession in the region. You will be joined by CDLS President, Trish D’Souza (Browne Jacobson), Vice President, Emma Waddingham (Legal News Wales), and Junior Vice President, Julia Reynolds (Leigh Day) in a relaxed setting with great food.

Theme for 2025: It’s tomorrow’s problem
A panel of speakers will open the event, with a discussion focus on creating sustainable opportunities for the next generation of leaders, covering mindset, finance and culture.

- 12:00: Arrival, Tea & Coffee
- 12:15: Welcome from the President of Cardiff & District Law Society, Trish D’Souza.
- 12:30: Panel Discussion – with RBC Brewin Dolphin and guest speakers. Chaired by Emma Waddingham
- 13:15: A three-course lunch is served, followed by teas, coffees and informal conversation
- Join us for a drink at the bar after the lunch, before the AGM starts
- 17:15: AGM – Central Cardiff venue, a short walk from the Parkgate Hotel (TBA)
