Cardiff & District Law Society (CDLS) invites its members and friends to attend its Annual General Meeting 2025, to support the current CDLS president Trish D’Souza as she comes to the end of her senior leadership year for the society.

CDLS is the oldest and largest regional law society in Wales. The AGM offers a perfect opportunity to hear from the outgoing and incoming CDLS presidential team to understand the impact of the society’s work for legal professionals in the region across the year, and to be inspired by the plans ahead.

What to expect

Hear from president Trish D’Souza (Legal Director, Browne Jacobson) as she reflects on her year, and witness the election of the incoming president for 2025-2026 (CDLS’ 140th year as a society) – Emma Waddingham (Founder, Legal News Wales) – and the next Vice-President – Julia Reynolds (Partner, Leigh Day).

5:00pm – Arrivals

5:30pm – AGM Starts, Chaired by Rachelle Sellek, Hon. Secretary and Director, Acuity Law, to include the election of CDLS Council members and speeches from the Presidents (2024-2025 and 2025-2026).

6:30pm: The AGM will be followed by drinks and the event is complimentary, for all.

Please do register to attend, to celebrate with CDLS and to network with the legal profession across South Wales as well as with ambassadors for and representatives of the legal profession, and regional professionals in other sectors.
