Legal News Wales is proud to launch the first in our new Resilient Legal Leaders Lunch series — a curated, private dining experience designed for those shaping the future of legal services in Wales.
The Resilient Legal Leaders Lunch series offers a new space for honest conversations, knowledge sharing, network building and collaboration across leadership in the legal sector in Wales.
This inaugural lunch brings together legal leaders and marketing professionals for a focused, informal conversation on one of the most critical — and often misunderstood — drivers of success in today’s legal sector: marketing and business development.
Why attend?
Marketing in the legal sector can too often feel fragmented, reactive, or disconnected from strategy.
This lunch is designed to reset that conversation.
Through open discussion, expert insight and shared experiences, we will explore how law firms, chambers and legal teams can:
- Build clear, strategic approaches to marketing and BD
- Avoid the ‘scattergun’ approach and focus on what really works
- Strengthen collaboration between lawyers, marketing teams and agencies
- Make confident, practical use of AI in marketing
- Improve client connection, visibility and growth outcomes
Whether you have an in-house team, work with an agency, or are building your approach from scratch — this session will meet you where you are.
Event format
Hosted under Chatham House Rules, this is a safe, open environment designed to encourage honest discussion and shared learning.
The session will be structured around two live Q&As, integrated into a relaxed private dining experience, let by our editor Emma Waddingham. Our Q&A session speakers (profiles below) are:
- Sahra-Marie Tulloch, Conscious Solutions
- Gemma Barnett, Business Development Director, Redkite Solicitors
Our launch event is delivered in partnership with Conscious Solutions, supporting law firms with marketing strategy, digital performance and growth.
With informal, guided discussion around the table, we’ll also explore:

- Getting the best from your agency and internal team
- What’s actually working in digital marketing for law firms
