Legal News Wales launched six months ago – only five days before lockdown was announced – and we’ve been privileged to stay at the forefront of engagement across the legal sector in Wales during this time.

As we move into a new period of remote working, greater easing of lockdown restrictions in Wales, reduced childcare pressures (for many) and the forthcoming end to the Job Protection Scheme, we thought it was a good time to take stock on where the platform is today, how law firms and practitioners are engaging with us and what’s planned for the year ahead.

In our video below, Emma Waddingham, Founder & Editor of Legal News Wales, swaps seats and speaks to Sarah Castle, Divisional Head of Legal, Yolk Recruitment, about how the independent platform has supported and collaborated with the legal profession in Wales since launching in March and how law firms, service professionals, law students, academics, charities and others can get involved in our news, insight, events and recruitment sections.

Help shape our online events

Online events

Our live, online events have attracted over 10,000 unique participants in the last six months and we average over 6,000 hits on our website each month. We’ve partnered with leading experts on the business of law as well as professional organisations, charities, Welsh Government ministers, law firms, barristers, insurers and investment managers, to name a few.

We also aim to publish post-event recordings and materials / comment in our features section, allowing us to reach an event greater audience and provide further updates as they develop.

If you’d like to collaborate on an event with us, or advertise an existing event, please contact the Editor.

Sponsorship & promotion
