Cardiff and Vale College, Wales’ largest apprenticeship provider, has announced it will launch a new CILEX Apprenticeship programme at Level 3 (Paralegal) and Level 5 (Advanced Paralegal) in January 2024.

The apprenticeship training will be flexibly delivered, either on-Campus at Swansea Business Campus or virtually, via online delivery.

Alan Mackey, Head of Work-Based Learning at Cardiff and Vale College (CAVC), said:

“We are confident that this programme will support the legal sector in Wales to recruit and train a talented workforce, whose real-life experience will help to build a talented and diverse pool of legal specialists, widen access into the legal profession and enhance workplace culture in Wales.”

CAVC’s programme aims to enable apprentices to learn valuable skills and knowledge in a specific role, relevant to an employer’s organisation. As they progress through their apprenticeship training, the employer support they receive underpins a gradual increase in responsibility as they grow in their role.
