JNP Legal has appointed commercial lawyer Alisa Smith to their team. Alisa is also tasked with building a new department within the law firm to enhance its property and corporate law services.

With 20 years’ experience in both residential and commercial property law, Alisa has developed her expertise at prominent law firms Eversheds and Hugh James, where she managed a variety of complex property transactions.

Tony Williams, Managing Director at JNP Legal, commented on Alisa’s arrival:

“We are delighted to welcome Alisa to our team. Her expertise will be invaluable as we continue to expand our services and provide comprehensive legal support to our clients. Alisa’s proven track record and ambitious vision align perfectly with our goals, and we are excited for the future of our firm with her on board.”

Alisa’s client base ranges from small property developers to corporate clients, and high net worth individuals. Her work will encompass new developments, from site setup to plot sales, and advising on complex property transactions and infrastructure agreements, diversifying the law firm’s offering.

She said:

“I am thrilled to join JNP Legal and look forward to bringing my background in complex property and corporate transactions to the firm. It’s an exciting opportunity to help develop a new department and expand our services to meet the diverse needs of our clients.”

Over the past six months, JNP Legal has experienced a growth period, adding four new staff members – Connor Graves, Laura McNee, Abbie James, and Leanne Melardi – in the same week as Alisa. The new recruits join the 60-strong team members based at JNP Legal, which has four offices in Wales.
