Commercial law firm Darwin Gray has doubled its dedicated insolvency team in the last 12 months. It has also become one of the largest dedicated insolvency teams in Wales and the south West of England to be ranked in two UK-wide legal directories.

Darwin Gray’s insolvency team has recently welcomed two new members, solicitor Charles Collar and paralegal, Alicia Roberts. This doubling of the team is an example of the firm’s significant growth over the past number of years, having seen both its Cardiff and north Wales offices double in size to accommodate its rapid expansion.

Head of Darwin Gray’s insolvency team, Mark Rostron, said:

“We are thrilled to have Charles and Alicia join the team. The growth of the team is reflective of the demand and quality of work that we’re delivering. I am looking forward to the future of the team as we continue to expand and build our client relationships.”

Darwin Gray has recently achieved a Band 1 ranking in both Chambers & Partners and Legal 500 for 2026/2027, with Mark ranked as a top individual as well as a spotlight on positive feedback for Senior Associate, Kate Heaney. Mark has been a ranking lawyer in the legal directories for 19 years.
