Hugh James has today announced it has acquired Loosemores Solicitors as part of the firm’s strategy to grow its corporate and commercial services – in particular, its expertise across the sport, media and charities sectors.
From today, Mark Loosemore (former Managing Partner at Loosemores Solicitors) will join Hugh James as Partner in the Corporate and Commercial team based at Hugh James’ headquarters In Two Central Square, Cardiff. Mark will be joined by another 27 employees from Loosemores Solicitors, including partners Siôn Tudur, Maria Cosslett and Karl Thomas.
On announcement of the acquisition, Ioan Prydderch, Head of the Business Division, said:

The news follows the 2022 acquisition of Potter Rees Dolan, a national serious injury and clinical negligence practice in Manchester, and continuous growth across the London and Southampton offices.
