Validient, the automated compliance management and due diligence system for law firms and regulated businesses throughout the UK, has joined Legal News Wales as a Community Partner, bolstering our provision of legal tech expertise, insight and industry data.

Founded in Wales, Validient transforms client-facing processes for the professional services industry by providing identity and document verification, biometric facial recognition, anti-money laundering checks, risk assessments, ongoing due diligence, company ownership structures, and bespoke client portals along with politically exposed person checks.

On the partnership announcement, Ieuan Leigh, Validient’s CEO, commented:

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Legal News Wales to continue our work to promote legal technology throughout the Welsh legal ecosystem. We have always had a strong relationship with Legal News Wales, and this partnership will further strengthen our joint work to ensure that Wales continues to be a leader in the UK legal scene.”

The compliance management specialists have recently secured a second investment from the Development Bank of Wales and Wesley Clover. Ieuan added:

“Our goal is not only to ensure that law firms have a trusted partner for their compliance technology requirements, but to support all firms in their technology journey. We look forward to the future collaboration between us and Legal News Wales, starting with the LegalTech Wales Roadshow in Cardiff on the 12 and 13 March 2024.”
