The opportunity

A growing commercial law firm in Cardiff is looking to strengthen its Commercial Property offering following continued expansion over the past 12–18 months. The firm has been investing heavily into its commercial teams and is increasingly attracting higher-value work, particularly from investors, developers and corporate clients across South Wales and the South West.

The property team works closely with the corporate and banking teams, meaning you will be exposed to transactional work linked to wider deals, rather than purely standalone property matters.

The team culture is modern and progressive, with a genuine focus on flexibility and development, making it particularly attractive for solicitors looking to step up in quality of work without moving into a high-pressure city environment.

The role will involve:

• Handling acquisitions, disposals and development transactions
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters across commercial portfolios
• Supporting corporate transactions with property elements
• Acting for developers, investors and corporate occupiers
• Drafting and negotiating a range of commercial property agreements

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor with Commercial Property experience
• Be confident handling more complex matters
• Be commercially aware and client-focused
• Be looking to progress within a growing team
