About the Role

A strong corporate team in Cardiff is looking to appoint a Corporate Solicitor (0-4 PQE) into a busy, high-performing department with an excellent reputation for quality transactional work.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who wants exposure to proper corporate deals in a supportive, modern environment – with the structure to develop quickly and the flexibility to maintain work-life balance.

You’ll be working closely with experienced corporate lawyers on a varied caseload including M&A, disposals, investments, shareholder matters and business restructures, with the opportunity to take ownership of matters as your confidence grows.

The team is known for being commercial, collaborative, and forward-thinking, with the ability to give junior solicitors genuine responsibility without being thrown in at the deep end.

The role will involve:

• Supporting and running matters across mergers and acquisitions, disposals and corporate reorganisations.
• Drafting and reviewing corporate documentation including share purchase agreements, shareholder agreements and ancillary documents.
• Assisting with due diligence processes and managing transaction timetables.
• Advising clients in a clear and commercially focused manner.
• Working closely with colleagues and partners to deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Developing client relationships and contributing to business development activity over time.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor (or due to qualify) in England & Wales with 0-4 years’ PQE in Corporate law.
• Have exposure to corporate transactions such as M&A, shareholder agreements, business sales and general company matters.
• Be confident drafting, reviewing and progressing documents with good attention to detail.
• Have a strong commercial mindset and an interest in deal-driven work.
• Enjoy working in a team environment and communicating effectively with clients and colleagues.
• Be organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple competing deadlines.
