Court of Protection Solicitor

  • Location: Swansea
  • Salary: Up to £55,000 (DOE)
  • Working Arrangement: Hybrid (initial on-site expectation)

The opportunity

A new opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor with 1-4 PQE to join a well-established and growing private client team. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of your own caseload while working closely with experienced senior solicitors on more complex matters. The role will involve:

  • Managing a varied caseload of Court of Protection matters.
  • Acting on behalf of vulnerable clients, deputies, and family members.
  • Advising on deputyship applications, property and affairs matters, and ongoing administration.
  • Liaising with medical professionals, financial advisors, and family members.
  • Supporting the wider private client team with related matters including trusts and estate administration.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Be a qualified Solicitor with 1-4 PQE in Court of Protection or private client work.
  • Have strong technical knowledge and a compassionate, client-focused approach.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Be confident managing your own caseload with appropriate supervision.
  • Be keen to develop your expertise within a specialist and rewarding area of law.
