Senior Auction Conveyancing Solicitor

• Salary: Up to £60,000 (DOE)
• Location: Cardiff (hybrid / flexible working considered)
• Experience Level: Senior Solicitor – 6+ years PQE

The Opportunity

TSR Legal are pleased to be representing an established and well-regarded law firm who are looking to appoint a Senior Auction Conveyancing Solicitor to join its specialist property team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer who enjoys fast-paced, technical work and wants to be involved in high-value, time-critical transactions across England and Wales.

Auction experience is preferred but not essential – strong residential or commercial property experience combined with the ability to work to tight deadlines will be highly valued.

The Role

You will manage a varied caseload of auction sales and purchases, acting for both buyers and sellers of residential, commercial, and mixed-use properties. Matters are often subject to short turnaround times and require a high level of technical accuracy and commercial awareness.

Your work will include:

• Handling auction conveyancing transactions from instruction through to completion
• Reviewing and advising on auction legal packs prior to bidding
• Preparing auction packs for sale, including:
• Obtaining title documentation
• Ordering and reviewing searches
• Liaising with auctioneers to meet marketing and auction deadlines
• Advising purchasers on title issues, risks, and saleability
• Managing post-auction completions within strict contractual timeframes

Acting on matters involving:

• Residential, commercial, and mixed-use property
• Specialist lending and bridging finance
• Liaising with auction houses, lenders, brokers, and clients throughout the process
• Ensuring transactions complete in line with fixed completion dates
• Workload & Pace
• High-volume of time-sensitive transactions
• Short exchange-to-completion periods
• Technical title issues and non-standard property matters
• Close collaboration with auctioneers and lenders

About You

• Qualified Solicitor with 6+ years PQE in residential and/or commercial property
• Confident managing complex conveyancing matters independently
• Strong technical knowledge of property law
• Able to work calmly and efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and client-handling skills
• Auction conveyancing experience advantageous but not essential
