The enter them into the Cardiff & District Law Society Legal Awards 2020 – the annual regional legal awards that recognise excellence and service to the profession.

Winners automatically shortlisted in national Excellence Awards:

The CDLS annual awards offer an added benefit to the winners as they will be ‘passported’ into the national Law Society Excellence Awards 2020.

The collaboration with The Law Society of England & Wales Excellence Awards means that the winners of this year’s CDLS Legal Awards will automatically be shortlisted into the national awards programme for the related award*.

Steve Roberts, President of Cardiff & District Law Society, said:

“We know Cardiff’s legal community is fighting hard through impact of the the Covid-19 pandemic but we still wanted to offer our members the chance to come together and celebrate exceptional talent and initiative in exceptional times.

“We’ll host our awards online this year and the winners will be celebrated again, at our postponed Annual Dinner, later this year.”

The three awards are:

  • Junior Solicitor of the Year (passported into the Excellence Awards)
  • Excellence in Technology & Innovation
  • Simon Mumford Memorial Award 2020

Deadline for entries:

10am Monday 27th April 2020.
