Stowe Family Law (Stowe) has announced that Marjha Golding-Evans has been promoted to the role of Managing Partner for Wales and the South West of England, and is joined by Partner Lauren Roche.

Based in Cardiff, Marjha brings a wealth of experience and niche specialisms to the role and will join Stowe’s senior leadership team to guide the firm’s growth and development in Wales.

Marjha joined Stowe Family Law from RDP Law in November 2023, and is focused on increasing the firm’s presence in Wales and beyond. She said:

“I am thrilled to be taking the step into Stowe’s Senior Leadership Team. I am proud to be part of an extensive network of specialist family lawyers committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients and providing the highest quality service as they go through some of life’s biggest challenges.

“It is an exciting time for Stowe and family law in Wales. We have a fantastic, growing, team of lawyers with a wide range of specialisms across all aspects of family law. It’s a privilege to work with our teams and I look forward to supporting and mentoring them through this period of growth and delivering our fantastic service to an ever-increasing number of clients across Wales.”

To further strengthen the development of Stowe’s offering in Wales, Marjha will be joined by experienced Partner Lauren Roche.

Regional Director for the South West and Wales, Louise Chipchase, said:

“I’m excited to have Marjha join the senior leadership team. She has been a fantastic addition to the firm since she took the helm at our Cardiff office last year, and her input, drive and skills have been invaluable. I look forward to continuing to work closely with her and developing our specialist offering across Wales.

“Lauren has been a hugely valued member of the Cardiff and wider South West and Wales team since she joined in 2022. I have no doubt she will attack her new role with gusto and continue to be an asset to the growth and development of our Wales contingent.”

Marjha specialises in High Net Worth divorces and financial settlements, focusing on complex cases involving business and company disputes, as well as divorces involving farms and landed estates. She also has substantial expertise in nuptial agreements, and contested children matters, including international relocation and financial support for a child. Marjha also sits on the national board of the Country Landowners Association Legal, Parliamentary and Property Rights Committee and is a member of Resolution.

Based in Stowe’s Cardiff office, Lauren specialises in complex children matters, including issues relating to domestic violence. She deals with all aspects of divorce and family breakdown, approaching each client’s case robustly and emphatically, providing clarity for those going through the challenges of relationship breakdown.
