Family law firm, Wendy Hopkins Family Law Practice, has announced a new director and solicitor amongst its recent promotions.
Rebecca Knight is promoted to director and Bethan Tapper is promoted to solicitor.
Founding Partner, Melanie Hamer said:
“Everyone at the firm is thrilled with these dual promotions which are well and truly deserved.
“They are both rising stars and will help ensure the continued success of the firm for the future.
Rebecca started at the firm nearly a decade ago as a paralegal. She climbed through the ranks of trainee solicitor, solicitor, and associate to become a director. Rebecca studied at Swansea University and completed her Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff Law School before qualifying as a solicitor in 2014.
Rebecca is known for her work in high net worth divorce cases and surrogacy matters. The Legal 500 refers to Rebecca Knight as: ‘conscientious’ with a ‘thriving reputation’, ‘extremely hardworking’ and recognised as a ‘star of the future’. She has also been identified in the Wales Online ‘30 young lawyers and accountants to watch’.
Bethan joined the firm in 2018. Since then, she has carried out Pro Bono work through Support Through Court (formerly known as Personal Support Unit). Her pro bono work focuses on helping assist those who face court alone.
